Liyanit Responsive Slider allows you to create and manage slider content directly from the WordPress dashboard. Each slider can contain multiple slides, and each slide can be configured with its own image, content, link, and display settings.
The plugin uses WordPress-native functionality, making it easy to manage your sliders without creating separate database tables.
Creating a New Slider
To create a new slider, open your WordPress dashboard and go to the plugin’s Slider Manager.
Click Add New to create a new slider.
Enter a suitable title for the slider so that you can easily identify it later.
For example:
Homepage Banner
or
Featured Products Slider
Adding Slides
After creating the slider, you can start adding individual slides.
Each slide can contain the content required for your slider layout.
Depending on the available configuration, you can add:
- Slide image
- Slide title
- Description
- Button text
- Button URL
- Additional content
- Slide-specific settings
Add the required information and make sure the content is properly formatted before saving.
Adding an Image
You can use the WordPress Media Library to select an image for your slide.
Click the image selection option and choose an existing image from the Media Library, or upload a new image.
For the best results:
- Use high-quality images.
- Keep image dimensions consistent between slides.
- Use optimized images to improve loading performance.
- Add meaningful alternative text to images where appropriate.
Reordering Slides
Liyanit Responsive Slider includes a drag-and-drop slide ordering feature.
You can easily change the order of slides by dragging a slide and moving it to the desired position.
For example:
Slide 1 → Slide 2 → Slide 3
can be changed to:
Slide 3 → Slide 1 → Slide 2
The new order will be reflected when the slider is displayed on your website.
